Fraser Eye LASIK Advantage

Aren’t all LASIK providers and facilities similar. The answer is an unequivocal no. How do you sort things and out and what to ask? How to know if you are considering the right place?

Below is a checklist to help you ask the right questions when considering different LASIK Providers.

No

Yes

Q: Do they perform at least 1,000 vision procedures per year?

A: Our surgeons perform thousands of vision procedures a year.

Q: Do they advertise a $699 and lower price?

A: There are many reasons to avoid places that advertise a $699 and lower price.  The most compelling reason is it’s almost always a bait and switch tactic to get you in the door. Especially considering the national average for LASIK is $2200/eye.

At Fraser Eye Care we give you the true price up front because we respect you, your time and your choices. And our prices are below national average.

Q: Do they offer the latest in laser technology?

A: We uses the VISX Star S4 which is the fifth generation of lasers since the invention of this technology. VISX Star S4 has the capacity of automatically centralizing on the pupil and tracing any movement that the eye makes. In addition, we utilize the latest in laser corneal flap technology with the iFS INTRALASE laser.

Q: Did they perform a WaveScan prior to surgery?

A: Our surgeons perform a WaveScan on every LASIK candidate.  CustomVue Wavefront guided treatments measure multiple maps of light mapping a custom correction map of your unique prescription.  The customized ability to correct aberrations that were not even measured in conventional LASIK allowing for a greater chance of seeing better than 20/20 and a reduced risk of night glare and halos. In addition, during the WaveScan acquires unique iris landmarks ensuring the most accurate treatment.

Q: Did they perform a Pentacam scan prior to surgery?

A: Our surgeons perform a Pentacam scan on every LASIK candidate.  A Pentacam scan measures the outer and inner corneal surface providing the most detailed analysis of the cornea prior to surgery.  If an irregularity of the curvature of the cornea is not detected prior to surgery, you may experience poor results.

Q: Are they a LASIK chain?

A: We are surgeon owned. And are not influenced by LASIK quotas or corporate influence.

Q: Do they offer convenient monthly payments?

A: At Fraser Eye Care we can offer low monthly payments.
