Dr. Yi Ling Dai is a Board-certified and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on restoring function and enhancing appearance for those affected by various eyelid, tear duct, and orbital conditions.

Dr. Dai completed her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College, graduating with distinction. She earned her medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, where she developed a keen interest in ophthalmology. Dr. Dai completed her ophthalmology residency at Tufts University/New England Eye Center in Boston, followed by a fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the same institution in collaboration with Beth Israel Lahey Health. She has authored multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals, contributed chapters to ophthalmology textbooks, and presented her work at national conferences.

When not in the clinic or operating room, Dr. Dai enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring what the greater Detroit area has to offer.
